Terms of service

1. Scope

These terms apply to all orders placed in the online shop of XOUXOU GmbH, Skalitzer Straße 51, 10997 Berlin, Germany ("Isoville", "we"). Consumers are natural persons who order for purposes outside their trade, business or profession.

2. Conclusion of contract

The presentation of products in the shop is not a binding offer. By completing the checkout you make a binding offer to purchase the products in your cart. We accept the offer by sending an order confirmation by e-mail or by dispatching the goods. The contract language is English or German.

3. Personalised products

Isoville prints are rendered individually from the address, palette, format, finish and view direction you enter. The rendering is based on OpenStreetMap data and shows the surroundings of your address as recorded in that data; deviations from the actual buildings and streets are possible and do not constitute a defect. You are responsible for the accuracy of the address you enter. Because the prints are made to your specifications, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply (§ 312g (2) no. 1 BGB); see our return and refund policy.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in euros and include the statutory value added tax. Shipping costs are shown separately at checkout. Payment is made using the payment methods offered at checkout; the amount is charged when you place the order.

5. Delivery

We deliver to the countries offered at checkout. Delivery times and shipping costs are set out in our shipping policy. If a product cannot be delivered, we inform you without delay and refund any payment already made.

6. Retention of title

The goods remain our property until the purchase price has been paid in full.

7. Warranty and liability

The statutory warranty rights apply. If a print arrives damaged or with an error on our side, we replace it or refund the purchase price. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. In cases of slight negligence we are liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

8. Copyright

The renders, images and texts in this shop and the artwork of your print are protected by copyright. You may use your print for private purposes; commercial reproduction or resale of the artwork requires our written consent. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL).

9. Dispute resolution and applicable law

We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country of your habitual residence remain unaffected.
